Welcome to our Horse Farm
The family at Múli invites visitors to a horse show, and an opportunity to learn about the unique Icelandic horse, amid the beautiful nature of Álftafjörður. After the horse show, visitors can meet the horses and their riders.

A Visit to Múli Horse Farm
The visit is for groups of 12 – 50 people or by agreement.
Please book in advance by email or phone.
The visit is available during the summer.

Your visit will last
about 45 minutes
to one hour.
We are 30 km
from Djúpivogur
(a 25-minute drive)
We breed horses, and we love to talk about them. We will do our best to answer all your questions!
At Múli we have established our own little “farm zoo,” where you can meet all sorts of small animals wandering around outside the farmhouse. Our home nestles beneath a fairytale rocky hillside, where sure-footed visitors are welcome to take a walk to enjoy the natural surroundings of the farm. And coffee and light refreshments are, of course, part of the experience.
About Us
We are a husband-and-wife team, electricians Þeba Björt and Guðmundur Skagalín. We love animals and are passionate about forestry. We are members of the Ásatrú religion which honours nature in the old Norse tradition, and several times a year we hold blót (celebrations) in the beautiful nature around us. Our land at Múli is verdant, ideal for horse-breeding. In summer our household grows bigger, as kids come to stay with us in the country, and young local riders join us for the horse shows.
Welcome to Múli!
